T3, Week 8

Year 12’s Final Week of School

During Week 8 we held a special morning tea for our Year 12 leaders to thank them for their service and leadership at MCS over this past year. It was a special time in community together reflecting on the roles in which they had stepped and grown. Next week, will be an exciting week as our Year 12 Students complete their formal schooling. We wish them all the best as they celebrate with one another and their teachers. It will be a week full of lasting memories, joy and laughter, and serving their school as they complete a season, ready to embark on a new season.

We are grateful for Year 12’s leadership, mature manner and the positive relationships they have invested in within our school community.

Year 9 ‘Real Men’

A select group of Year 9 young men embark on a new program called ‘Real Men’ next week. The program is an opportunity for them to talk through what it means to be a man, how they begin to make young adult decisions and take on adult responsibilities, how to interact positively within a group to build each other up and how to treat women in a respectful, caring manner. We pray this program will bear much fruit for your young men as they transition into adult men.
