T2, Week 5
Thank you God!
It has been wonderful to see more of our families returning back to school after a major weather event. We are very thankful for the safety God has provided many of us during this rain.
Stage 5 Agriculture: Animal Welfare and Hands-On Learning
This term, our Stage 5 Agriculture students have been exploring animal welfare—learning what animals need to survive and how to recognise signs of both physical and mental health.
Oscar and Isaac explained that mental wellbeing in animals can be observed through behaviour, such as being “interactive and running after food.” Oscar added, “Our beautiful goats, Angel and Pebbles, always get excited and run straight to us when there’s food!”
Zahara shared that a highlight for her was “watching the baby ducklings grow up—especially Patchy.” Chloe said, “Looking after the ducks and hanging out with them has really helped my mental health,” and she’s loved seeing “how quickly they’ve grown.”
These hands-on experiences in our Secondary school continue to foster curiosity, empathy, and a deeper understanding of Agriculture in action.

Year 11 Reports
Year 11 Reports will be sent home to our families via Sentral next week. These reports provide a detailed overview of your child’s progress so far this year, including achievements, areas for development, and next steps as they prepare for the final stages of their Secondary schooling.
We encourage you to take the time to read through the report with your child, celebrate their successes, and discuss any goals they might like to set moving forward.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the report further, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with your child’s teacher or Ms Cromwell.
Chapel
Over this term in Secondary Chapel, we have been journeying through the book of John, focusing on the miracles of Jesus and how each one points to His identity as the Son of God. Each week we have continued discovering more about Jesus’ heart, His compassion, and the invitation He offers us to believe and follow Him with our whole lives.
We have been thankful for the leadership shown by our Student Leaders with their continual input into Chapel to ensure our young people are hearing the truth of Jesus.
Bible Club has been a real highlight, especially with our split girls’ and guys’ weeks. Again, our amazing student leaders have been thoughtfully and prayerfully preparing, looking for ways to share their hearts and encourage others in their walk with God. These sessions have opened up meaningful conversations and given students the chance to explore how we’re called to live boldly and faithfully for Him.
