Celebrating our Seniors
It is that time again, another Year 12 cohort are just about to complete their final week at Medowie Christian School and what a blessing it has been to see the growth and development of these young men and women under our care.
At MCS we have established a tradition of celebration and service for the final week for our Year 12 cohorts and so wanted to share with our Senior Community the plans we have to acknowledge this great milestone for our graduating class of 2023.

Checking in on Student Wellbeing
This week our Senior Secondary students took some time to reflect on how they are going with their friendships, sense of belonging and engagement with the community through RU OK Day activities and discussion groups.
Each week our Secondary students have the opportunity to engage with Wellbeing Check Ins through ei Pulse an online wellbeing survey that asks students some brief questions to assess their feelings of safety and connectedness to friends, teachers and the school environment. As a staff team we are regularly reviewing this information to help inform our approach to wellbeing, our teaching programs and rhythms throughout the school to create a great place for our students to learn and grow.
Have a look below to learn a little more about ei Pulse at MCS
Congratulations Year 11!
For the first time in our history MCS held Year 11 Preliminary Exams in the traditional format. Previously MCS operated Year 11 and 12 under what is known as the compressed HSC which accelerated the completion of our elective subjects program which could be challenging to manage for many learners. Now we have created a genuine Preliminary Year in which our senior learners can apply themselves to as they build up towards their HSC year.
Congratulations Year 11 on a job well done this week and we look forward to building with you into the start of your HSC studies next term.
