Our Culture of Community - Our Stories Matter
Each week as a Secondary community we meet to learn more about our great God (and His love and interest in us) through our Chapel time. This Monday we had the opportunity to hear from Mr Vayne, who took the time to recount his recent significant health incident with our students and revealed the peace he found in God during this time. He encouraged us all to remember that time is precious, relationships matter, and having a purpose in Christ will provide us with a peace like no other as we face the successes and challenges of life.
Each one of us has been made uniquely by God and as we share our stories, experiences and purpose with one another, we can reflect the character of Christ to one another. This is our hope for Chapel. This term as we seek to understand JOY, we will look at the Letter to the Philippians. I encourage our families to join me in prayer over our time together in Chapel as we seek to support our students in finding their purpose.
Planning for the future - Year 10 Subject Information
Coming up in Week 4, our Year 10 students and families will have an opportunity to come and meet with us to discuss subject selections and offerings for study in 2024/25. I would like to welcome all of our Year 10 families to attend this event with your child to learn more about what is on offer here at MCS. We are proud of the on-site courses on offer here and together with the support of our external providers believe that MCS is the best place to be a senior leader! Thanks and Gratitude to our families
I just wanted to add my thanks to the many Secondary Families that invested time with us on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon/evenings for our Parent Teacher Interviews. Time is our most precious resource and our children are our most precious gifts. Here at MCS we value the opportunity to give you some feedback and to learn how we can support you further, so thank you for taking the time to genuinely partner with us!
