T1, Week 2

Moving from "Starting" to "Striving"

As we move into Week 2, the initial excitement of the first day is evolving into a steady, productive rhythm. This is the pivotal moment where our young people begin to own their routines, building the confidence and independence that lead to long-term success.

Mastering the Morning Momentum

Establishing a calm start to the day allows students to arrive at school with a clear, focused mind ready for learning. We encourage students to try these two strategies to set "Tomorrow-Me" up for a win:

The "Double-Check" Routine: By reviewing the weather, school timetable, and afternoon commitments the night before, students can eliminate morning decision-fatigue and arrive at school feeling settled and ready for the day.

The Launchpad: Creating a designated "Launchpad" for bags, lunches, and sports bags ensures everything is ready for the next morning. When the "Launchpad" is loaded by 8:00pm, it guarantees a restful night and a seamless transition from home to school.

Sparking Passion: Secondary Clubs

This week marked the exciting launch of our Secondary Clubs! Whether they are stepping into Student Leadership, honing their craft in Music or Art Club, or finding community in Bible Club, The Forge, and Salt and Light, there is a space for every student to flourish. From the strategic challenges of Chess to the physical energy of Sport Competitions, and the quiet reflection of Read & Relax, these opportunities are designed to help students discover their unique passions. Full details are available now in Canvas on the Secondary Hub.

Academic Excellence: Senior Study Centre

To support our Year 10–12 students in reaching their full academic potential, we are pleased to open the Tuesday Afternoon Study Centre. This structured environment is more than just a quiet space; it is a hub for academic growth where students can:

  • Engage in focused, independent study.

  • Make significant headway on upcoming assessments.

  • Access expert guidance through subject-specific workshops led by our dedicated staff.

Please check your email for the detailed schedule and permission forms.
