School Swimming Carnival

The school swimming carnival is fast approaching! On Wednesday, 11th February our school swimming carnival will take place at Stockton Swimming Centre. It is a great community day celebrating our swimming abilities and enjoying some house spirit and friendly competition. The Eagles are the defending champions, can any of the other houses knock them off their perch this year? Please make sure you return your notes to the front office so you can attend.

Equestrian 2026

Welcome to the new year and the opportunity to join the MCS School Equestrian Team. If your child has their own horse and is interested in becoming a regular part of our fun, supportive and talented riding community, then please contact Ms Diane Pietsch via the school office or the linked email for further details.

The team meet each Thursday afternoon at our coaches Matt and Emma Broome’s property ‘Voller Park Breaking and Training’. Each coaching session runs for an hour and a half from 4:30pm-6pm and is a group session that varies each week. It aims to develop horsemanship skills and build the partnership between horse and rider. The benefit alongside this, is the bond and friendship that is built amongst the team from across all ages of the school community. Our coaches work with the riders and meet them where they and their horses are at in skill development and also build upon areas the riders are keen to pursue. At times our focus will be on upcoming competition preparations and we keenly look forward to team attendance at Interschool competitions however competitions are not necessary.

We welcome new members from Kindergarten to Year 12. Please contact Ms Pietsch for enrolment forms for 2026 and get excited for our first week with coaching beginning in Week 4 on Thursday 19th February. I look forward to another exciting year.
