T1, Week 8

Infants Swimming Carnival

A great time was had by all at the Infants Swimming Carnival yesterday at Stockton Pool. It was lovely to see our youngest students participating in so many races and using the gifts and talents that God has given them to bring glory to Him. The highlight of the day was the ‘Tug of War’ where our students boldly conquered their parents. Thank you to Mr Allen and all the Infants teachers who made this such a great day. Thank you also to Mr Hallet and the Stage 5 Sport class who assisted our students and to all the parents who came along to cheer our students on.

Stage 1 Excursion to Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounter

As part of their Integrated Studies, Stage 1 enjoyed a fabulous excursion to the Irukandji Shark and Ray Encounter last Friday. There was much excitement from the students as they patted sharks and stingrays and this experience really brought Finding Nemo Jr alive for them. They are now busy building underwater dioramas and creating beautiful under the sea artwork that they will share with you in their art gallery during Finding Nemo Jr.

Ball Games at School

In our Primary Department we love our students being active and engaging in sport during their break times. We have a good selection of sport equipment including soccer balls, footballs and tennis balls that our students are able to borrow (available from the school sports store at break times). In order to promote positive social interactions during sport games we request that students do not bring their own soccer, football or tennis balls from home.
