Annual School Survey

Thank you to our students, families and staff who have invested time in providing feedback to the school via a response to our annual school survey. There is still time if you would like to complete the survey and share your thoughts with us. You only need to complete the survey once however, you may have received reminder emails while the survey window is open. We are grateful for and value your time investing in helping us be better.

NAPLAN

Congratulations to all our students that have now completed their NAPLAN assessments for 2024. It has been pleasing to observe our students working diligently and giving their best throughout this week. Results from these assessments are not expected to be available until the end of Term 2. If you have any further queries about NAPLAN, please contact Mr Mark Walter.

BYOD - Please Note

We have had a few instances of students deleting some of the school based apps off their devices or restoring devices to factory settings. Whilst we acknowledge at times this may happen by accident the implication is that when this occurs your child’s device may no longer be connected to our WiFi, have authenticated to our network through our safe sign on (OKTA) and therefore be unable to be used for learning here at school. It is a reasonably involved process for our youngest learners to get reconnected and back on track with their peers, so we are requesting if you have concerns or questions in relation to these Apps/Programs on your child's device, or general issues with your devices, to please contact the school for further information, explanation and possible solutions.

Opportunities to be a part of our SMART Play Team

Do you have a passion for working with children? Would you like to work in a Christian environment? SmartPlay Early Learning Service is seeking a support worker to work 5 days a week. You do not need to be qualified, but you do need to be a minimum of 18 years old, hold a current Working With Children Clearance and be willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate and Child Protection Certificate if you do not already hold these. We would like you to start as soon as possible. Please contact Fiona Ham, assistant National Director at:

Prep Visit the Principal

Last Friday Prep visited the Principal to meet Mr Weeks in his office. They were very well mannered and asked lots of great questions, including "Mr Weeks do you work hard?". They also met our fabulous office ladies and gave high fives on the way out.
