We had a wonderful start to the week meeting together in Primary Lines where our students reviewed our memory verse and demonstrated what great Memory Verse Champions they are by reciting:

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. – Rev 3:20

Some of our students from the Primary Public Speaking Club also read a Bible verse that they were practising to present at the HRIS Public Speaking Competition next Friday. We wish them all of God’s blessings as they boldly stand in front of an audience and present their speeches as outstanding representatives of our school.

NNSW FUTSAL Competition

Congratulations to our Under 10s and Under 12s FUTSAL teams who represented MCS at the NNSW FUTSAL Competition in Newcastle this week. Our teams played with great enthusiasm and it was wonderful to see them using the gifts and talents that God has given them to serve Him and bring glory to His name. Our Under 8s teams will represent MCS at the NNSW Finals at Maitland next Tuesday and we wish them all of God’s blessings as they stretch themselves in this exciting sport.
