T4, Week 3
Primary Cheer Team
Congratulations to our Primary Cheer Team who competed at the NSW Cheercon Championships on Saturday. The students have worked incredibly hard throughout the year learning, rehearsing and refining their Cheer routine and they did MCS proud by winning first place in the Novice Primary School category and were the Grand Champions for Scholastic Cheer. We are so proud of our Cheer Team and look forward to seeing what they do with their talents and skills in the future.

Celebrating Biblical Studies
We have had a great year of learning in Biblical Studies classes. Stages 2 and 3 have been watching videos from Konnect HQ where young people answer children's questions about God and solve problems. Every week there is a main point and a Bible verse which the students discuss and record. Some students have decorated and illustrated their lessons and will take home an attractive reminder of their learning. There have been lots of questions and discussion, and students have enjoyed singing a range of songs related to the topics. Years K-2 have enjoyed simple Bible stories and songs. They have had fun using their CEP workbooks with activities, quizzes and puzzles. It has been wonderful to see so many of the students engaging with and deepening their understanding of themes of faith and life and what it means to follow Jesus.

Farewell Mrs Hall
Last week our Primary community said farewell to Mrs Joelle Hall as she left us for a period of time to welcome her new baby. We are very excited for Mrs Hall and her family and wish them all of God’s blessing as they enjoy this very special time together. We will all miss Mrs Hall and look forward to her returning to us in 2027.

Term 4 Overviews
For an outline of all the learning taking place in our classrooms in Term 4 please go to the link below. We encourage you to have regular conversations with your child about what they are learning at school.
2026 Primary Classes
As we enter Term 4 many students and their families are beginning to think about class placements for 2026. The development of classes for the new year is a very large and complex task that is taken very seriously by our Primary staff. A great deal of prayer and discussion amongst the teaching staff goes into which class students are placed. In making these decisions we consider the needs of all students and aim to place each student with at least one child that they have a strong connection with so that they can begin the new school year feeling comfortable. We request that parents trust our professional judgement and know that we will carefully place their child where we believe their needs will be best met. We are blessed with a very professional and talented Primary teaching team and no matter what class your child is placed in you can be confident that they have a dedicated teacher and they will be ‘Well Known, Well Loved and Well Taught’. 2026 Primary classes will be communicated to parents during the week ending 16th January, 2026.
I wish everyone a restful weekend with their families.
