T2, Week 4
Term 2 is a busy term for Secondary students with lots of exciting opportunities and events. It has been wonderful to see the sunshine come back!
Chapel
This week in Chapel we had the blessing of having David Deane come along from Questioning Christianity to share with us why the Bible can be trusted and how we know it is true. We also had time with David to ask questions to see if the Bible holds up to our questions. David will be returning every term to help us tackle the big questions. Keep an eye out for the topic for next term.
Stage 6 Roadshow
Year 10 families are invited to come along to our Stage 6 Roadshow to gain information about subjects for Year 11 2024.
Ramses Excursion
We celebrated a great day out with our Year 7 students and Year 12 Ancient History students at the Ramses exhibition on Tuesday 14th May. This was a momentous occasion to see a vast number of artefacts discovered from the burial chambers of the Pharaoh Ramses the Great. Our students immersed themselves in the world of the great Pharaoh.

Build me a Future - STEM Excursion
On Tuesday 21st May, approximately 28 students from Year 7 and Year 8 attended the Science & Engineering Challenge. Our 8 teams completed two hands-on STEM-based activities each ranging from constructing different types of structures, to sending coded messages, to electrifying a city. Students were challenged by their activities and displayed great values of perseverance, collaboration and creativity. All students are keen to attend again next year and improve on this year's results.

Bible Study and other Weekly Activities
Secondary students are invited to come along to Bible Study on Fridays during lunchtime. It is a time to spend time together reading the Word of God, reflecting upon how God desires the best for us, and continuing learning of the hope we have in Him.
There are many groups running each week for our Secondary learners to be involved in. See Canvas for the details of each group.
