Getting to School by Bus in 2026?

Applications are open for a School Travel Pass. If your child travels on the bus this is a priority item to have organised. It’s also a good idea to check the bus timetable to make your child’s journey to school as easy as possible.
Bus passes
All students catching the bus in 2026 will need a school travel pass.
Under the School Student Transport Scheme (SSTS), eligible students can apply for free or subsidised travel between home and school.
For more information about the SSTS and how to apply for a school travel pass, visit https://apps.transport.nsw.gov.au/ssts/#/ (best accessed from a desktop computer) click 'Apply now'.
Bus timetables
Busways operates your school's bus services. To find your child’s school bus timetable:
Go to busways.com.au/nsw
Click ‘School Services’ in the navigation bar, then proceed to ‘school timetables’
Enter the school’s name in the 'enter a school name’ field
Select the school’s name to open the timetable.
If you are unable to find or search for the school’s name, use the drop-down menus on the same page to find the school. Once the timetable is opened, you will be able to identify which school bus services are available in your area for your child.

Keen Bean Canteen opens!

MCS is fortunate to have the support of the Keen Bean Canteen again this year who will be open from Tuesday 3rd Feb, 2026. From this start date the canteen will operate on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each school week. Pre-orders are made using the Flexischools App. Secondary students are able to access the walk-up service and pay via cash or card. See the Parent Hub for how to download Flexischools.
Uniform Days
We are proud of the MCS uniform and the way our students wear it each day. Through the design of the timetable a range of learning activities have now been scheduled across each week. For some of these learning activities the Formal Uniform is most appropriate and for others the Sports Uniform is preferred.
Please see attached the 2026 Uniform Days schedule to help you and your children be organised and ready each day.
