T1, Week 1
Welcome to 2026
We would like to warmly welcome all of our Primary families to the 2026 school year! It was lovely seeing everyone walking into school with great joy on Wednesday and we were excited to see everyone stopping for a photo at the Medowie Yowie Arch. We are looking forward to all the deep learning that our students will engage with this year as they grow into the people that God has created them to be. During our first three days of school our students have been busy getting to know their new teachers and settling into their classes. We have been focusing on learning the theme verse of the year and we look forward to doing everything this year in the name of Jesus.

Our Prep and Kindergarten teachers have been busy this week meeting our new Prep and Kindergarten students as they have been completing their beginning of year assessments. It has been lovely seeing the smiling and eager faces of our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey at MCS.

Class Information
Our teachers have been working hard preparing their Term Overviews in order to communicate all the important information that families need to know about life in each year level. These will be published in the Week 2 Newsletter. If you have any questions about your child’s class routines before this please do not hesitate to email their class teacher.
Clubs
We are all excited to begin our 2026 Primary Clubs. These will begin in Week 3 and information about the Clubs that are available and the times these will operate will be available in the Week 2 Newsletter.
