MCS 2025 Student Leadership Process


This year we have been blessed with some outstanding student leaders in both Primary and Secondary. These students have been exemplary role models in all areas from their relationship with God, service to the school community and their application to academic study. As we look toward 2025 we are beginning our process to select leaders for the year ahead. Each year we review this process and this year we have simplified the leadership tasks required from candidates and we will notify them of the success of their application sooner. The process to apply to be a 2025 Student Leader at MCS will begin during Term 3, Week 6 and will involve the following:

The Head of Primary will meet with prospective students and explain the process of selection of Student Leaders for 2025.


Secondary

Year 10 and 11 submit an Expression of Interest via Canvas, answering several questions about their desire to serve in leadership.

Prospective Student Leaders write a letter of application to the Head of Primary.


Secondary

Prospective Student Leader interviews with a school leadership panel.

Successful candidates are notified and begin to work with 2024 Student Leaders.

2025 Student Leaders announced to MCS Community at 2024 End of Year Celebration Service.

We encourage all current students in Years 5, 10 and 11 to prayerfully consider whether God is calling them to lead their peers in 2025.



Father's Day Breakfast


Happy Father’s Day to all our MCS fathers, grandfathers, uncles and other father figures. Thank you for all you do for your children. We greatly appreciate the way you build into their lives and demonstrate the Father heart of God in your care for them.
