T3, Week 5
CRU Fit 2024
Last Friday, 23rd August our Primary Ministry Team and Student Leaders represented the school at the annual CRU Fit day. This was a great opportunity for them to learn how to lead worship, run Bible study groups and to pray in a large group of students. We are excited to see how our students will bring what they learned at the CRU morning into our Chapel services. We were also delighted to see the way these students were great role models amongst their peers and how keen they were to volunteer to try new experiences.

Zanna And The Lost Code Production
On Thursday, 29th August our Primary students watched a production about Cyber Safety called Zanna and The Lost Code (presented by Brainstorm Productions). This was a most entertaining show that taught them all about safety online and the risks of giving out their details. It also discussed positive strategies for them to use to address online bullying as well as taking care of their wellbeing when using technology. This was a very helpful educational tool to help our students navigate the digital landscape with safety.

School Uniform
Thank you to all our parents who work hard to ensure that our students are wearing the correct school uniform each day. We have all been excited to see the arrival of some warmer weather this week but we do remind our families that students are required to wear Winter Uniform until the end of Term 3. Please ensure that when your child is dressed in their formal uniform that they wear polished black leather shoes. Runners are not permitted to be worn with the MCS formal uniform. Girls are also required to wear the maroon tie with their formal uniform each day. Please see the links below to the MCS Uniform Policy and the 2024 Uniform Days document.
The above information can be easily accessed from the Uniform Days link at the top of each week’s Whole School News.

Parents are warmly invited to both Chapel and Assembly which are held in The Lighthouse beginning at 2:15pm.
