Japanese Cultural visit
A huge thank you to our host families and student community for welcoming our Japanese exchange students this week. Our guests have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of our community and sharing some of their culture with us.

The Keen Bean Canteen has selected a winner!
Congratulations to Mia for winning the Keen Bean Canteen logo competition at the end of last term. We will now share this logo design with some of our design team to get this turned into a digital artwork and signage made up to place on the outside of the canteen. Not only will the winning design feature soon on our canteen building by Mia has also won a voucher to spend at the canteen for her efforts! Well done Mia and thank you to all the students who submitted entries into this logo competition.

Cyber Safety Presentation
On Thursday 29th August our Primary and Secondary students will attend a presentation by Brainstorm Productions outlining the challenges of using technology and how students can do this safely. This presentation will take place at MCS as an incursion covering part of our Digital and PDH curriculum. Secondary students will engage with a production called Wired from 9:00 - 10:20am and Primary students will engage with a production called Zanna and the Lost Code from 11:30am - 12:30pm. If you have any questions about this production please contact your child’s class teacher.
Father's Day Stall
We will be running our Father’s Day Stall on Thursday 29th August from 10:30am with gifts costing $3 or $5. Primary students are required to pay in cash and will attend with their class. Secondary students are able to pay with cash or card during 1st and 2nd break.
We are also seeking parent volunteers to be able to assist with students purchasing gifts at the stall. If you are able to help on the day please email LauraGill@acc.edu.au. To be able to volunteer in this capacity, a current Working with Children Check is required.
Father’s Day Breakfast
All families are invited to recognise and celebrate our wonderful fathers with breakfast on Friday 30th August from 7:30am - 8:30am.
