T3, Week 1

Championing Neurodiversity with Dr Justin Coulson

Life for a neurodivergent child is a journey of highs and lows, marked by the joy of mastering new skills and the challenges of setbacks. As their parent or teacher, your support is crucial.

We have another wonderful opportunity for families to hear from Dr Justin Coulson in a live online webinar. Dr Justin Coulson will address neurodiversity in this webinar titled “Championing Neurodiversity: Helping Children Thrive in a Neurotypical World”.  The event will take place on Monday 19th August at 7pm, and for interested families, MCS will secure your place to attend.

Put the date into your calendar and stay tuned for registration details.

Staffing Changes at MCS

As can be the case in every community and workplace, staff are led to new opportunities that see their time at MCS come to a conclusion. At this time we would like to make our community aware of two staffing changes for our team.

  • Mrs Vanessa Cork who has served in the role of Defence Support Mentor (among many other roles) will be moving on to further study, concluding her time with MCS at the end of Week 2.

  • Mrs Cherie Wilk will also be moving from MCS at the end of Week 2 to take on an Executive Assistant role in the Southern Highlands.

We are grateful for Mrs Cork’s and Mrs Wilk’s contribution to our community and will miss them both!
