T1, Week 3

Quick Links

For important information regarding school operational matters we have created this quick link section which can be accessed from the Whole School News each week:

BYOD Progress

Thank you to our families for your continued support and patience as we have been onboarding our Student devices in the early weeks of this term. Most of our learners are now connected and able to gain access to appropriate Programs and Applications for learning. Throughout the week we have begun to see students downloading these and moving through the sign-in stages which for our youngest learners in K - 2 does take a little time. We have been impressed with their approach to learning their technology and are looking forward to making this a regular part of their learning experience where appropriate.

If your child does not have Self-Service on their device yet, please bring the device in and ask for Mr. Jelliffe in Administration.

A little more about our web protection service:

Next week (Wk 4) students will receive the MCS IT Agreement and have an opportunity to go through this in classes throughout the school helping students to understand the correct and responsible use of technology in the classroom.

This agreement will also be shared through the Parent Portal for your information to enable conversations at home around safe and responsible use of devices.
