T1, Week 1
K-12 Formal & Sport Uniform Days for 2024
We take pride in our school and show this by wearing our uniform correctly. Respect is shown when uniforms are worn to high standards. Thank you for your continued support in bringing positive thinking and beliefs about our school through the wearing of the correct uniform, not only while at school but also while displaying the values of our school as you wear uniforms in the community.
Please ensure that your child has the correct uniform for each school day, and the correct uniform for each season. Please also ensure your child has a hat for school, to wear all year round.
To help our families with the routines of learning in each year level we have put together this one-page outline detailing the uniform days relevant for your child. Please take note of the days for your child and assist them to come to school in the correct uniform each day.
Uniforms can be ordered from the Alinta online store, which can be accessed via the MCS website under Menu items - ‘Parent Hub’. Please see the MCS Uniform Policy for full details.

BYOD Progress
We are progressing well with our onboarding of BYOD throughout the school this week. Week 1 has been all about getting connected to our WiFi, ensuring students know their login details and signing into Google (which is a key system used to log in to other programs here at school).
In Week 2 we will be rolling out applications on Self Service (our School App store) and testing these with some select classes to ensure smooth operations.
In Week 3 we will ensure all Primary and Secondary students can download/access the relevant Applications and Programs for learning. Whilst there will always be minor adjustments to our systems we are hoping devices will all be ready and able to access learning for the year from this week onwards.
Please know:
Self Service will allow your child to download School approved Apps for learning without the need for them to have their own Apple ID and access to the Apple App Store.
When on the MCS WiFi, all student devices are monitored, protected and filtered.
If you would like your child to access other Programs/Applications in addition to the School based apps you may at your discretion.
Please help by:
Assisting your child to charge their device each evening and pack it in their bag the next day.
Purchasing protective cases for devices and checking for updates regularly as this will assist them to have a smooth experience on our systems.
Car Park Safety
With an increasing number of families joining our school community, please be reminded that the safety of our students and community is paramount in the carpark of a morning and afternoon. We thank you for your continued support in keeping others safe.
Could parents and caregivers please read, and discuss the following with their children (little and big), so that together, we can all ensure a safe entry and exit from school:
