T2, Week 9
Celebrating our Students in the Performing Arts
As MCS is busy preparing for Midnight the Musical there are many of our students who are also engaged with external Drama communities. This week MCS would like to celebrate the efforts of Tiana, Isaac and Hailey who will be appearing in the cast of Hunter Drama’s rendition of Matilda the Musical Jr. with Hailey being cast in the lead role of Matilda.
We wish them all chookas for these shows and are very proud of their efforts both here at school but also with their pursuits in areas of passion outside the school community.
Tickets are available from TryBooking which also provides a short synopsis about Matilda Jr for those looking to brush up on the story ahead of seeing the show.
World Cup Day - Cheer on the Socceroos for a Great Cause!
Get ready to show your Aussie spirit! On Friday, 26th June (last day of Term 2) we are holding a special Green and Gold Mufti Day to celebrate the Socceroos' big match against Paraguay. Students are invited to come to school dressed in green and gold, or their favourite soccer gear, for a gold coin donation. All funds raised will go directly toward supporting our school’s Compassion sponsor child. As an extra special treat, the students will get to watch the game together right here at school when it kicks off at 12:00 pm. We can't wait for a fun afternoon of football and fundraising!
