T1, Week 6

Equestrian - Hoofing Around

Last week we saddled up and started Team Training for the 2026 school year. It has been exciting to welcome so many new riders to the MCS Squad and I look forward to watching the Team grow and build their friendships as well as their partnerships with their horses throughout the year. We have three junior riders in Kindergarten who have joined the team this year and they are a joy to watch.

Once again in 2026, we are excited to learn from the experience of both Emma and Matt Broome as our trainers from 'Voller Park Breaking and Training'. Our Team has split into three groups, including Junior Riders, Primary and Secondary which offers more 1:1 attention for the horse and rider teams.

Training is held at Alexandria Park at Salt Ash as we have grown to need more space with coaching as follows:

  • 4:00pm-4:30pm Junior Group (Kindergarten)

  • 4:30pm-6:00pm Primary and Secondary

For MCS Team accessories please visit The Rug Rack website and order from the Interschools section/page for all of your competition needs.

This week we give a shout out to Willow from Year 4 who is currently representing MCS at the Merriwa Interschools Competition. We wish her all the best and look forward to hearing about her results and time away.

In the meantime, enjoy some photos from our first two weeks.
