2026 MCS Musical: MIDNIGHT
Our previous musicals have set the bar high thanks to our amazing students and staff... 2026 will be no exception! Audition, get involved, and make this the highlight of your year. We are proud to present this full-length production:
If you would like your child to be part of the magic they will need to register their interest. Please scan the QR code for audition details or use the Midnight Auditions link. This is an opt-in extracurricular activity where all students are welcome to be involved.
Form Submission must be completed by 5:00 PM on Friday, March 13th. Completing the form ensures your child has a spot in the musical, regardless of whether they choose to audition for a specific featured role. Once the form is submitted, your child is officially part of the production!
Participation Paths
Kindergarten – Year 4 can join the Musical Ensembles by simply completing the form (no video submission required). Students in Years 5 & 6, Secondary Ensembles, Lead and Minor Roles have the opportunity to rehearse the Finale audition song with Mrs Blatch on Wednesdays and Year 6-11 students with Mrs Falckh on Fridays. To be considered for a lead or minor role, students must submit the required video auditions. Further information can be found here.
For those primary students who would like to take part in the musical but are unavailable for rehearsals after school on Wednesdays or Fridays, please select the ensembles box on the Form and email Mrs Blatch . We will explore the option of having a musical rehearsal for these students as a lunchtime club.

Musical Synopsis
MIDNIGHT is an Australian musical that offers a fresh reimagining of the classic Cinderella story. MIDNIGHT is not just a tale about true love; it is the story of a girl who is destined for so much more than what the world has given her and features a funny, intelligent and strong-willed Cinderella who is determined to make her mark. The last thing she wants, or needs, is a so-called Prince Charming. Enchanted by this alluring stranger, the Prince finds himself in uncharted territory and quickly learns that 'Ella' is like no other. Can he prove his worth? Can she ignite his desire for change?
Can all be achieved by the stroke of midnight?
