HRIS Stage 2 Football Gala Day
Congratulations to all our students who represented MCS at the HRIS Stage 2 Football Gala Day on Thursday at the Central Coast Sport College. Our MCS Team came third in the competition! They trained hard in preparation for the day and they made our school proud by the way they demonstrated our C.H.R.I.S.T values and showed good sportsmanship. Thank you to Mr Parraga for helping the team train and for supporting them on the day.

Equestrian News
This week we are excited to share some photos from our weekly training sessions with our talented coaches Emma and Matt Broome from across the term. The riders have begun learning dressage tests and preparing for the upcoming Interschools Horse Extravaganza (ISHE) to be held in Tamworth during October. We welcome Macy into the team this term, along with Licorice, one of her beloved steeds.
Anyone looking to order the school competition saddle cloths or browbands can do this through ‘The Rug Ruck’. They also have rug sets available for competitions in the team colours that include the school logo so head over to their website to order these directly from the supplier.
For any enquiries about the MCS Equestrian Team please contact Di Pietsch the manager via email or contact the school office. Riders looking to join the team must have their own horse and be able to float it to the training sessions which are held weekly at either Voller Park, North Arm Cove or at the Raymond Terrace Riding For The Disabled (in wet weather). Training runs weekly throughout the school term excluding the first and last weeks of term, each Thursday from 4:30-6pm.
