T2, Week 7
Futsal Gala Days
This week we had our Secondary Futsal teams head out to compete in the NNSW Futsal Regional Championships in Maitland. All of our teams represented MCS strongly, demonstrating great character in all of their games. Our under 14 girls made it all the way to the semi finals, ultimately falling short but displayed great effort to make it that far.

After School Basketball Training
With our focus starting to turn to Term 3 gala days, we have an opportunity to have some training sessions after school on Mondays for High School students interested in Basketball. These sessions will commence in Week 9 and go from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. If your child would be interested in attending these sessions, please contact Mr Keith to express their interest.

Primary Futsal Competition
Last Thursday, Medowie Christian School participated in the Northern NSW Futsal Competition. We were represented by our Stage 3 boys, Stage 2 boys and Primary girls teams. All 3 teams represented our school with pride, playing with fairness and integrity. Our teams achieved great success, with all 3 teams making the grand final. Our Primary girls team were successful in winning their grand final, whilst both our Stage 2 and 3 boys teams were unsuccessful in their grand finals. All 3 teams will now represent the region at the state competition in Week 9.
Here are some reflections from some of the players of their highlights from the day:
“I enjoyed playing with my team and having fun.” - Teix
“I loved the experience of the HRIS competition.” - Xander
“I had a great time with my team and it was so good winning the grand final!” - Emily
