International Women's Day
This week some of our Year 12 young women were inspired and were given the opportunity to inspire others for International Women's Day. What an encouraging morning sharing, celebrating and spurring other women on in Leadership.
Our leaders stood beside other women leaders from schools around our region, being united together through their stories and ways they see a positive change can be made. We were encouraged by three strong, passionate leaders who forged the way for women in politics, Kate Washington, Meryl Swanson and Leah Anderson.
Annika and Gabby shared with the community about their passions, desires, aspirations and calling for the future, inspiring other young women to aim high.

Year 8 Connection
During CareGroup this week our Year 8 students had some ‘time out’ to connect in gender specific groups.
The Year 8 boys were lead in discussions by our male staff and some Senior Secondary Students on some important topics relating to healthy and respectful relationships. The Year 8 girls were led by our Senior Secondary students Ayva and Gabby who talked about friendships, kindness, how to care and love one another, and appreciate the uniqueness gifted to us all from God.
Activities for the girls session included making a Vision Board, showing each other who they are and what they love to do. Together, they created a whole puzzle - standing back and watching it come together we were reminded how we are much better together!
