T1, Week 7
Chapel
This week in Chapel we have been continuing with our theme of Hope. Ms Cromwell shared about her life journey, how she found Jesus and what adversities He has helped her and her family through.
She encouraged us to consider what Hope provides us. Hope provides us with a direction, a way forward and a future. Hope provides us with an anchor that prevents us from being blown around in the storm when things become tough.
On top of these things, Ms Cromwell encouraged us to think deeply about what, who or where we place our Hope. She challenged us to place our Hope in an eternal God who is faithful rather than placing our hope in money, prestige, popularity or the number of likes we receive on our social media.
We finished Chapel with a puzzle organised by the Senior Leaders which required teamwork and collaboration. There were lots of laughs together and, of course, the winners received chocolate.
Be encouraged this week by Philippians 4:13:
I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.

Assessment/Homework Help
Students are encouraged to come along to Assessment Help in M25 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during lunchtimes where there will be several teachers there to assist.
Study Skills sessions will be running next week for all Secondary students so they will be equipped with skills to help them be productive learners.
Hats
Hats have been on the agenda this week as we aim to take care of our young people and their health in the sun. Students with hats are encouraged to be involved in the variety of outdoor activities, burning off steam and getting hot and sweaty. Students without hats have been asked to remain in the shade.
Please encourage your teenagers and young adults to bring their hats to school everyday so they too can join in on the fun.
