T1, Week 5
Chapel
This week in Chapel we were continuing our theme of Hope. Mr Keith reminded us this week what the difference is between Godly hope and worldly hope. Our Godly hope is not based upon what we have achieved, what we earn or what we own, but it is based upon Jesus’ unconditional love for us and His deep desire to plan the best for us.

Assessments
Assessment time is upon us. Students are beginning to receive notifications via Canvas with lots of details about how they can prepare for these. Families, don’t forget to keep referring to the one-page summary for the Assessment Schedules that were emailed (and can be accessed by Students from the Secondary Canvas Hub).
Assessment/Homework Help
Students are encouraged to come along to Assessment Help in M25 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during lunchtimes where there will be several teachers there to assist.
There are Study Skills sessions coming up for all Secondary students so they will be equipped with skills to help them be productive learners.
Secondary Reminders: Policies and Procedures
This week students have been going through and signing off on the Uniform Policy and our updated Technology Policy and Agreement. Congratulations to those students who have made wonderful improvements in uniform and general behaviour across our Secondary school. It has been a pleasure seeing our learners showing their levels of maturity. Families will be notified by Care Group teachers if their young person is out of uniform without a note from home. If any young person is interrupting the learning for others, families will be notified by classroom teachers.
Excursions
Many excursions are being planned and organised for our Secondary students so keep an eye out for alerts on the Sentral Parent App.
