T1, Week 4

There is lots happening in the Secondary School as the term begins to move along.

Chapel

This week in Chapel we were continuing our theme of Hope. Mrs Sansom-Sherwill brought the message this week encouraging us in our relationships with God and with one another. Our student leaders did an exceptional job running a fun activity around the Word of God, and chocolates were much welcomed!

Our Stage 6 Drama class acted out a skit for us about the Good Samaritan reminding us to look out for others, to see others, and to help others in times of need.

Assessments

Assessment time is upon us. Students are beginning to receive notifications via Canvas with lots of details about how they can prepare for these. Families - don’t forget to keep referring to the one-page summary for the Assessment Schedules that were emailed (and can be accessed by Students from the Secondary Canvas Hub).

Secondary Reminders: Policies and Procedures

This week we have been focusing on the policies and procedures for our Secondary Department. Students will be signing off on the Student Code of Conduct, Uniform Policy, and our updated Technology Policy. Congratulations to those students who are great ambassadors for our school and come every day ready for learning. We love our students and the joy they bring to our day.

Excursions

Many excursions are being planned and organised for our Secondary students so keep an eye out for alerts on the Sentral Parent App.

May you have a blessed rest of the week and please do not hesitate to reach out at anytime.
