T4, Week 7

In the Spotlight

Here at MCS we are blessed with incredibly talented students. Last night we had the opportunity to celebrate with many of our students some of the gifts that they have developed through hard work and dedication. There were musical items, dance performances, drama monologues, artistic displays and technology projects presented. Like all who were present, I was extremely proud of every one of our students. A big thank you to Mrs Falckh, Mrs Sansom-Sherwill, Ms MacCormick, Mr Vayne and Mrs Blatch for guiding our students and helping them to prepare.

Excelencia

Christian Education Ministries publishes a journal titled Excelencia every year highlighting exemplary student work. MCS is blessed to have a number of entries this year. Congratulations to Hannah (A Lavender Bush) and Matilda (Persecuted Magic) for their imaginative short stories. If you have the opportunity, these are certainly worth reading!

Congratulations also go to Lily who was interviewed as part of ‘Excelencia Live 2023’ about her amazing portrayal of Elsa during the school musical ‘Frozen’ last year. This, along with many other student interviews from across ACC schools can be found at https://www.acc.edu.au/excelencia-live/.

End of Term Dates

We are rapidly racing towards the last few days of this term. During our final week there will be a number of special days as we celebrate the completion of 2023.
