T4, Week 3

Year 7 Immersion Day

It was fantastic to welcome our 2024 Year 7 students to MCS in preparation for next year. This included current Year 6 MCS students who are graduating out of Primary School, along with many new students from the wider community who we are blessed to bring into our school community. These students experienced a number of Secondary-style lessons throughout the day. The highlight for many students though, was the opportunity to spend time with our current Year 10’s, where they were provided with a Mexican Feast for lunch and then a variety of games and activities during the afternoon. I was particularly impressed by the willingness of our Year 10 cohort to serve our 2024 Year 7’s and the inclusive, caring manner which they demonstrated. Thank you Year 10!

Uniform

As we look forward to the warmer weather please ensure students always have a hat ready to wear and whenever outdoor lessons are known to be timetabled the use of sunscreen is advised. The link to our MCS Uniform policy can be found below. We thank parents for supporting the school in ensuring students wear the correct uniform and take pride in their neat and tidy presentation. Please refer to the Whole School News for information on how to order MCS Uniforms.

Enjoy!
