Congratulations Year 12!

This week was the final week of school for our Year 12 class of 2023. What an amazing journey it is to undertake 13 years of schooling, to achieve the HSC and to make many memories along the way. For our Super 6, it was a wonderful celebration of their learning, the community and culture they have fostered, their friendship and their faith. Thank you to Ashliegh, Elouise, Conner, Max, Cassius and Will for your servant hearts and investment in making MCS a great place to learn and grow.

After an action packed term, it is my hope that you are all able to enjoy a great rest these holidays. Not long ago I was reminded of the importance of rest and that God designed us for it to live in this rhythm of work and rest. One of the key ways we can prepare for rest is to invest some time remembering all the good things that have happened and to be grateful. This act of remembering slows down our thinking from the busyness of the now, and allows us the headspace to get up and out to see more clearly.

I would like to say thank you to our students and families for your continued support and partnership this term and I look forward to the new term in a few weeks time after a good rest.
