Our Culture of Learning - Getting Growing
We are blessed with a variety of learning spaces and resources here at MCS and one of our unique areas is our newly redeveloped Agriculture Plot. Our Stage 5 students are doing a wonderful job getting produce growing and the space ready to welcome our livestock soon. Next week MCS will welcome 2 poddy calves onsite for our unit with Cows Create Careers.
It is a blessing to have this space in our learning community and we’re looking forward to seeing its continual growth and development throughout the year.
Year 10 Subject Information Reminder
Next week (week 4), I’d like to invite our Year 10 students and families to come and meet with us to discuss subject selections and offerings for study in 2024/25. Here students and families will receive information around HSC study at MCS, courses taught on-site and how to access external providers. Our experienced Secondary Staff will be available to help guide you, along with a course guide book being made available for students and families to assist in making final course selections. Please see the flyer below for further details.
We look forward to meeting with you then.

Careers Expo
Following on from our Stage 6 Subject Roadshow our Senior students from Year 10 - 12 will attend the Hunter Careers Expo. This is another great opportunity for our learners to consider possible future careers, meet further training providers and consider possible pathways from school to work. I encourage our families to take some time over the weeks ahead to engage with us in pathway planning conversations that can help prepare our young men and women for lives of purpose.
