T1, Week 4
Chapel
It was wonderful to have our first Primary Chapel service for 2025 last Friday. Our students worshipped God with great enthusiasm and everyone was keen to recite the first half of our theme verse for the year John 15:11-12. Miss Beikoff shared a very interesting object lesson with us where she likened the joy that God gives us bubbling up in us like the bubbles in creaming soda. We look forward to seeing what God will do in us this term as we explore more about the joy that He gives us.

Kindergarten Phonics Information Evening
On Wednesday night we had a great evening with our Kindergarten parents who came to learn all about our approach to teaching phonics at MCS. Mrs Lilley, Mrs Henderson and Mr Jenkins shared about our strong synthetic phonics programs including Heggertys and Sounds-Write and they gave our parents lots of tips and tricks to help support their children’s learning at home. We look forward to working in partnership with the Kindergarten parents and watching our students thrive on their Kindergarten journey.
