HRIS Chess Tournament
Congratulations to our Primary Chess Teams who represented MCS at the HRIS Primary Chess Tournament last Friday, 1st November. The competition was tight but our students displayed amazing skill and were able to win several games against their competitors. Thank you to Mr Jenkins for training the teams all year and to Mrs Ward and Mr Salvini for helping on the day.

2025 Prep Orientation
On Tuesday afternoon our 2025 Prep students and their families visited MCS to explore the Prep facilities and hear about all the exciting learning that lies ahead of them next year. The children had a great time participating in play based learning experiences while the adults learned all about preparing their children to begin school with success. We look forward to having these new families and their children join us in 2025.

In Real Life Program
Throughout Term 2 and 3, all girls in Year 4 have been participating in a social emotional learning program titled In Real Life Real Friends. This program is designed to help girls grow their friendship skills through affirming, positive interactions based around healthy communication skills and helpful ways to manage emotions . To conclude the program, the girls enjoyed a lovely high tea together and were provided with an opportunity to reflect on how they have grown in their friendships. It was a time enjoyed by all.

Parent Communication During the School Day
We understand that parents will sometimes need to send messages to their children throughout the school day. When this becomes necessary please email MCSStudentServices@acc.edu.au and we will arrange for a message to be delivered to your child at an appropriate time. In order for us to ensure that your child is safe and does not become distracted from their learning, we request that parents do not message their children on their iPads during school time. We thank you for your support with this request.
Primary Assembly and Chapel
Primary Chapel is held on Friday during odd weeks of the term and Primary Assembly is held on even weeks. Parents are warmly invited to both Chapel and Assembly which are held in The Lighthouse beginning at 2:15pm.
Please note: Due to the constraints of the size of the Overflow Church our Week 6 Primary Awards will be presented at Monday Morning Lines in Week 7, Monday, 25th November.
