We have had an exciting week in the Primary Department this week. Yesterday, 15th June, we hosted a Kindergarten focused Principal’s Tour and it was lovely to have several families tour our facilities and visit classes to see the excellent learning that was taking place. I have also been encouraged by the enthusiasm that is being shown by our students towards their learning as I call in on classes throughout the week. The big highlight at the moment is the SHINE rehearsals that are taking place across our stages.
SHINE and Grandparents Day
Please refer to Music News for further details and how to purchase your tickets for our Shine Evening Performance and Grandparents Day Matinee. Please refer to the Whole School News for specific details about these performances and the most up-to-date schedules.
Under 8s NNSW FUTSAL Tournament
Congratulations to our Under 8s A Team for coming Runners Up in the NNSW State Futsal competition on Tuesday. The outcome of the match came down to a penalty shoot out which was a great experience for our students. Our Under 8s students represented MCS with pride displaying all of the R.O.C.K. principles that we so readily teach at school. We are excited about the great skill that our Stage 1 students are demonstrating in FUTSAL and look forward to seeing their skills grow in the future.

Congratulations to all the students who have received Primary Awards this fortnight. These students have shown excellence in either their academic work or have made significant contributions to building our positive MCS community.
