Celebrating Student Learning
I am so excited as I walk around the Primary Department listening to the buzz of lots of learning taking place in our classrooms. From the joyous sounds of our Prep students learning their sounds to the laughter of Stage 3 students involved in preparing skits to apply the peacemaking principles, our students are keen participants in the world around them. I was particularly delighted to see Stage 1 out in the sunshine conducting experiments with light. As Stage 1 learn all about light in their Integrated Unit this term, it is exciting to walk into their classrooms and see coloured light projected on their walls as well as students experimenting with light refraction. It is great to see our students so keen to engage in Science.
Winter Uniform
Thank you to all our Primary students for working so hard to wear their winter uniforms so beautifully. It is great to see everyone taking pride in their uniform and wearing it as part of our MCS Community. Wearing your uniform correctly helps prepare your mind for learning and is an indicator that you are working at being the best person that God has created you to be. Just a reminder that the burgundy tab is a compulsory part of the girls’ Winter Uniform. This should be buttoned with the blouse and worn whenever the formal uniform is worn.
Primary Award Recipients
Congratulations to all our Primary Award recipients this fortnight. We are very proud of the way you have been bold in your learning and the way in which you have given back to the MCS Primary Community.
