T3, Week 2

HSC Showcase

Last night we held our HSC Showcase, an evening for our Year 12 Music, Art and Drama students to share their major works. We enjoyed a wide range of music from Elgar to Iron Maiden, were entertained by the wit and humour of our Drama students, and amazed by the beauty and intricacy of the artworks. A big thank you to all of our families, friends and MCS community members who came out to celebrate with our Year 12 Students. Congratulations to all of our performers and artists on their hard work!

Congratulations to our talented HSC Visual Arts students: Thea, Belle, Danika and Dylan, who exhibited their Bodies of Work at our annual HSC Showcase. Each student demonstrated creativity, dedication and depth in their artmaking. Their work not only reflected months of hard work but also beautifully displayed the creative gifts God has given them, used for His glory. We are so proud of them!

Our Year 12 students shone at this year’s HSC Showcase, presenting the impressive major works they’ve been creating. Highlights included stunning Art displays, captivating Music performances, and the Drama group production The Last Hurrah—a twist-filled murder mystery performed with the help of Year 10 actors, Isaac Conza and Angus Gates. The Drama students also performed their HSC Individual Pieces, with Dylan Salter’s witty The Pretentious Socialite and Matilda Davis’s sharp and funny What to Do With Your Life. It was a wonderful night of celebrating the talent and creativity of some of our HSC students! We wish them all the best as they prepare to submit their final polished versions for their HSC.
