Parent Teacher Interviews Bookings
We are excited to invite our parents to our Parent Teacher Interviews and would like to inform you that bookings will be open on the Sentral Parent App from Monday 31st March at 8:30am through until Friday 11th April 4:30pm .
Primary Interviews: 15 mins each
Secondary Interviews: 7 mins each
Please make some time to book in to ensure you get to have these valuable conversations focussed on your child's learning.
Date: Monday 28th April (This is a Pupil Free Day with all students resuming on Tues 29th April)
Time: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Venue: The Lighthouse (MPC)
We're Heading to the Movies!
We warmly invite our school community to begin celebrating our Medowie Christian School’s 30th Anniversary with a special movie showing! King of Kings will be hosted by Scotty’s Cinema on Saturday 12th April, 2025 at 9am.
A free ticket is available for every Medowie Christian School Student and parents are welcome to purchase additional tickets to attend. Primary Students in Years Prep to Year 6 must be accompanied by an adult - supervision is not provided at this event. General etiquette for attendance at public cinemas is expected.
We are excited to begin our celebration with this movie showing, giving us an opportunity to gather together and see the story as told by Charles Dickens. Tickets will be available on Eventbrite shortly.

Term 2 Change for Primary
For the 10 weeks of Term 2, Mrs Wright-Baker our Head of Primary has the opportunity to gain some valuable experience in educational leadership as she steps into the Principal role at Brightwaters Christian College to allow Mrs Tania Anway an opportunity for a deserving rest. Mrs Wright-Baker will be returning to MCS in Term 3 however, for next term whilst we will miss her, we are also excited that she has this growth opportunity to serve another of our great Christian Schools in the CEM family.
Smart Play Vacation Care
Bookings are now open for Kinder to Year 6 at our Smart Play Vacation Care in the upcoming school holidays. Smart Play are pleased to announce they will also operate on the Pupil Free Day Monday 28th April to assist in the facilitation of Parent Teacher Interviews being held at the school on this day. Bookings are essential.

Medowie Community ANZAC March and Service
This year ANZAC Day falls on the last Friday of the April School Holidays. We warmly invite any MCS students from K - 12 who are available on the day to represent the school at the Medowie Community ANZAC Day March and Service.
When: Friday 25th April
Where: Meet Mrs Wright Baker in the Bull n Bush Hotel car park at 37 Ferodale Road, Medowie.
Time: The march will assemble at 5:30am and then proceed down Ferodale Road concluding at the Medowie Social Club at 36A Ferodale Road, Medowie. A memorial service will then take place from 6 - 6:30am.
Dress: MCS Formal Winter Uniform.
We would love to have as many of our students involved in this special occasion as possible.
