2025 Uniform Days
In order to assist families across the School to know the appropriate uniform to wear on each day of the week the 2025 Uniform Day Schedule has been produced. This was emailed home earlier in the week and has also been attached here for you.
We appreciate your partnership with us in ensuring your child is in the correct uniform for each day of the week.

Car Park Safety
With an increasing number of families joining our school community, please be reminded that the safety of our students and community is paramount in the carpark of a morning and afternoon. We thank you for your continued support in keeping others safe.
Could parents and caregivers please read, and discuss the following with their children (little and big), so that together, we can all ensure a safe entry and exit from school:
Drop-off and collection of children in the morning (8:15am-9am) and afternoon (3pm-3:30pm) is solely from the Overflow Church Car Park.
No Parking, drop-off or collection of children from the school grounds carpark or bus zone.
'Kiss and Drop' of children is to be parallel park outside the Overflow Church. No parking along the full length of the southern edge of the carpark for ‘Kiss & Drop’ between 8-9am each morning.
Children and parents are to cross into the carpark at the designated crossing.
Park in designated car parking spaces only.
No Parking in the designated parks for Medowie Medical Centre.
No Parking in the area near the Keen Bean Coffee Van and Children's Playground.
No parking in front of Medowie Medical Centre. This space is reserved for Emergency Vehicle access only.
10 km/h speed in car park.
Listen to and follow the directions of the Staff on Duty at all times.

Early School Pick Up Procedures
Our school day begins at 8:50am and ends at 3:10pm and it is a busy day with active learning taking place throughout the whole day. We request that where possible parents make medical and other appointments for their children outside of school hours.
We also acknowledge that sometimes this is impossible. In order to minimise disruption to classes we ask that if you need to collect your child from school before 3:10pm that you send an email to MCSStudentServices@acc.edu.au by 9am the day of the appointment and we will make sure that your child is brought to the office for you to collect.
Unfortunately, due to the busyness of school life, if we receive short notice for the collection of children, parents will be asked to wait until an Executive Staff member is available to collect them from class.
Keen Bean Canteen Announcement
The Keen Bean Canteen will begin 2025 with operation days on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you’re interested in ordering your lunch at MCS and don’t want to miss out on your favourite foods, orders are taken online by 7pm the evening before on the Flexischools App. Get set up with the attached instructions.
If you’re already connected to the Keen Bean Canteen on Flexischools, it is important that you visit the App Store and update the App to the most current version. In addition, please update your children’s 2025 class. We look forward to feeding you this year!
