Medowie Community ANZAC March and Service
We would like to invite the MCS Student Leaders and any other interested students to represent the school at the Medowie Community ANZAC Day March and Service.
When: Thursday, 25th April (the second Thursday of the school holidays).
Where: Meet Mrs Wright in the Bull & Bush Hotel car park at 37 Ferodale Road, Medowie.
Time: The march will assemble at 5:30am and then proceed down Ferodale Road concluding at the Medowie Social Club at 36A Ferodale Road, Medowie. A memorial service will then take place from 6 - 6:30am.
Dress: MCS Formal Winter Uniform.
MCS ANZAC Service
We warmly invite all MCS families to join us for our annual ANZAC Service to commemorate the men and women who have given their lives so that we can live in a free country.
When: Tuesday, 30th April.
Time: 9:30 - 10:30am.
Where: The Lighthouse.
Medals, Rosemary and Poppies: Students are encouraged to wear the medals of relatives, rosemary and poppies to mark the occasion
Morning Tea: All visiting families are invited to join us for a morning tea in the staffroom at the end of the service. Please RSVP to medowie@acc.edu.au by Friday, 26th April.

Mother’s Day Stall
We will be holding a Mother's Day Stall on Thursday 9th May (Term 2, Week 2) which will be located in the MPC Foyer. Primary students will visit the stall at a designated time throughout the day with their class and Secondary students may visit the stall during recess and lunchtime. Gifts will be $5 each. Primary students must pay with cash only and Secondary students can pay with cash or card.
In preparation for this celebration, all parents who are able and willing to lend a hand wrapping presents for the Mother's Day Stall are invited to meet in the front reception area on the 2nd May with Gift Wrapping starting at 9am. If you intend to come along please let us know via email medowie@acc.edu.au to help us to ensure that we have the appropriate resources ready.
Mother’s Day Breakfast
On Friday 10th May (Term 2, Week 2) all Mothers, Grandmothers, and Carers are invited to a Mother's Day Breakfast beginning at 7:30am and concluding at 8:30am. Breakfast will be served inside and outside of the MPC Foyer. This will be a special time to celebrate the important women in our lives.
