Cross Country Carnival - Wednesday 29th March

On Wednesday, 29th March, our whole school will be participating in our Cross Country Carnival. This event will be held on our Mountain Bike Track. It will be a fun event for our Infants students, while our Year 3-12 students will compete in different length races, depending on their age.

We are grateful to our Secondary students who have been working hard, clearing and preparing the track so we can all have a great day!

NAPLAN 2023

This week students have completed NAPLAN assessments across the domains of Writing, Reading and Conventions of Language. MCS will be completing the Numeracy assessment on Monday 20th March. There will be opportunities to complete catch-up tests for those students who have been absent, however there are restrictions on when these can be completed.

As each day passes we have noticed more students arriving with equipment that is either not charged or missing. These tests are completed online to enable a variety of assistive technologies to be available to assist students. As such, please remind students of the following requirements.

On NAPLAN days students will need to ensure

  • They have a fully charged iPad.

  • They have headphones.

  • If they are using wireless headphones, these are also fully charged.

If you have any questions about NAPLAN, please contact Mr Mark Walter.
