MCS Cross Country Carnival

Medowie Christian School’s Cross Country Carnival took place on Wednesday. It was an extremely successful and enjoyable day for our students and teachers! The weather threatened to interfere with proceedings but the rain stopped, the blue sky came out, and all our events across Infants, Primary and Secondary took place under very good conditions.

Students who qualified for the MCS HRIS Cross Country Rep Team will be notified next week. Can we ask that students check the MCS Hub next week, and the school’s website, for the list of competitors. The HRIS Carnival will take place on Friday 28th April, Week 1 of Term 2.

Thredbo Mountain Biking Camp

Students from Years 7-12 are heading off to Thredbo for our Mountain Bike Camp on early Sunday morning. Please pray for the team as we travel to Thredbo and back, as we continue to offer exciting opportunities to our students through our sports program, here at Medowie Christian School.

Equestrian News

The MCS Equestrian Team has had a fantastic Term 1. If you are interested in joining us at the Riding for the Disabled in Term 2 please let Mrs Patton know via email.

Reminder - Bike Shed Holiday Clean Out!

Just a reminder that the school’s bike shed will get a clean-out over the holidays, so anyone with a bike at school will need to take it home throughout the week. All mountain bike events at school, including Wednesday Sport and lunch activities, will be cancelled next week so that students can take their bikes home.
