It was great to kick off our Wednesday sports this week, with students participating in their chosen sport. We've been looking forward to getting started in the different sports, teaching students new skills or helping them improve skills they've learned previously.
The Thredbo Mountain Bike Excursion - Week 11
It’s on again! The trip to Thredbo for keen Year 7 to 12 mountain bikers will take place during the last week of the term (Week 11). Key points to note:
we leave from school early Sunday 2nd April and return late Thursday 6th April
students must be participating in MTB as their school sport for Term 1
students must be competent riders. Thredbo is not for the faint-hearted nor the inexperienced
there will be additional cost to parents for this excursion
in addition to the excursion cost, suitable mountain bike and protective equipment may need to be hired for students participating
A note has been distributed to interested students at our Full House meeting today. Please complete the information on the form and return it to Mr Davis by Wednesday 22nd February during Wednesday Sport.
We do need some parent helpers. If you are interested, please contact Mr Greg Davis to let him know.

Sports Houses
When students participate in our swimming, athletics and cross country carnivals, they earn points for their house. Being part of a house means we are all part of something larger than ourselves, getting to know students in other years and contributing as a team.
We are currently finalising Sports Houses for our Prep - Year 2 students.
And the winning house is........ EAGLES!!!! Congratulations to all the Eagles who helped their Sports House win at the swimming carnival.

House Mascots
This week we welcomed our House mascots, much to the excitement of our students. Our four 'dancing men' in house colours were there to greet our students on arrival one morning.
