Sport at Medowie Christian School is off to a flying start again this year! We are working on providing for your child a positive sporting experience through a variety of choices this year for both Primary and Secondary students.

More information about Wednesday sport choices will be communicated with students over the next couple of weeks, as well as some extra-curricular and representative opportunities available during Semester Two at MCS.

Year 3 - 12 Swimming Carnival

We are delighted to announce that parents and carers are welcome to attend the carnival this year and are welcome to bring their children directly to Stockton Swimming Centre (where it was held in 2022). The carnival will begin at 9:30am.

When: Wednesday 8 February Where: Stockton Swimming Pool Time: 9:30am

• For those students wishing to compete in 200 Individual Medley, 100m or 200m, parents will need to drop them at the pool by 8:15am.

• Medowie Christian School will still provide transport to the carnival by bus, leaving the school by 8:45am and returning in time for normal home routines.

Below is a list of upcoming sports dates for Term 1. More information will be sent out closer to each event.

• Prep and Infants Pool Fun Day - Wednesday 14th March

• Cross Country Carnival - Wednesday 29th March

• Thredbo Mountain Bike Excursion - Sunday 2nd - Thursday 6 April

• Mountain Biking for Sport (Wednesdays) and Bike Club (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) - more information will be sent home regarding when these activities will commence
