In this week's sports news find out how our Secondary volleyball and netballs teams performed at the HRIS competition and our very own Monica Moore outshone the competition in the All Schools Cross Country in Adelaide.

All Schools Cross Country

Congratulations to Monica Moore, who recently competed for NSW at All Schools Cross Country. This was a massive effort as the race was in Adelaide. Monica had a great race and finished 2nd, takin g home the silver medal for her division.

Well done Monica, we are all very proud of you.

HRIS Secondary Volleyball

MCS entered our first volleyball competition this week.

We had 2 secondary teams enter a new HRIS volleyball event. The students had a great day of competition, with both teams finishing 4th. This was an outstanding achievement.

A huge thanks to Mr Keith for his time training the students and organising the teams.

HRIS Secondary Netball14 and U16 girl's netball teams ventured to National Park in Newcastle and competed at the HRIS Secondary Netball Gala day. The girls had heaps of fun and are congratulated for their outstanding sportsmanship and giving it their all. Special thanks to Charlotte Patton (Year 12) for coaching the U14 team.
