T1, Week 3
Swimming Carnival
Next Wednesday (the 19th Feb) is our Years 3-12 Swimming Carnival which will be held at Stockton Swimming Centre. Buses will be driving students to the pool at 9:00am. If your child wishes to swim in the 100m freestyle or the 200m Individual Medley they will need to arrive at the pool at 8:15am.
Parents are welcome to attend the event (however, you will be charged an entry fee). Please ensure the permission note has been filled in to allow your children to participate.
HRIS Swimming
Primary HRIS Swimming is on Thursday, February 27th at the Forum Sports & Aquatic Centre. If you finish 1st or 2nd in your age group at the school swimming carnival in a race then you will receive a note to attend the HRIS carnival. Please note, HRIS have changed the structure of some of their events to align with higher levels of representation. For 8, 9 and 10 year old swimmers, the Breastroke, Backstroke and Butterfly events no longer have individual age groups but have been grouped together to be an 8-10 age group. The 50m Freestyle will remain as an individual age event.
Equestrian
Training for our Equestrian Team is going to commence next Thursday, the 20th of February. If you are interested in joining the team, please contact Mr Keith so he can pass on the relevant information and permissions so you can attend the sessions.
