T2, Week 8
Primary Futsal State Championships
On Thursday 20th June the Stage 2 and Stage 3 boys Futsal teams represented the school in the NNSW Futsal State Championships. This competition had the best teams from across Newcastle and the Central Coast compete in a champion of champions event. Our teams have worked hard training and it was a great opportunity for them to participate in a state competition. The MCS boys fought hard all day against very strong teams and unfortunately did not make the semi finals. Thank you to Mr Wenham and Mrs Urra for accompanying them at this event and to Mrs Urra and Mr Woolley for helping them train and develop their skills. We are very proud of their efforts.

Athletics Carnival Results
After a closely contested carnival, congratulations to the Lions who won the carnival by just 10 points! This was the conclusion to our carnival season for 2024, and with 3 of the houses each winning 1 carnival each. The race for the overall house championship is set for an exciting next phase in Semester 2.
