T2, Week 7
Volleyball Gala Day
Congratulations to our Senior Volleyball teams who competed in the HRIS Volleyball Invitational competition this week. Our boys team were unlucky to miss out on the semi-finals, with point differential being the deciding factor. The boys ended up finishing in 6th place.
Our girls competed hard all day and achieved some positive results, narrowly missing out on the grand final by 2 points and then winning their 3rd-place playoff game. Well done teams.
Primary Basketball Gala Day
Congratulations to our Stage 3 HRIS girls and boys Basketball teams who competed at our local HRIS Gala day on Wednesday. Basketball is a popular sport amongst our students and it was great to see them representing our school, at competition level. Both our boys and girls teams had a great day and both teams saw lots of improvement as the day wore on. Thank you to Mr Wenham for coaching the teams and to Mrs Fedder for helping him look after the teams on the day.

Primary Sports Team Trials
There are a number of Gala days that we are preparing for in Term 3. The Primary Football (Soccer) Gala days and the Primary Netball Gala days are coming up and trials for these teams will be happening during classes. Students should speak to their teachers for more information on these trials.
Athletics Carnivals
A big thank you to all of our families who attended our 3-12 and Infants Athletics Carnivals over the past two weeks. Each of these days was a fantastic celebration of our students and houses, with some exciting results being achieved from everyone. Final results from the 3-12 carnival will be released next week during Full House.
