Our Culture of Community

In 2023 as a school we have TWO focus priorities: as a team we are working at maturing our approach to building our culture of community and culture of learning. Here at MCS we desire to be a welcoming, engaged, respectful and supportive community. A place that students can be proud of and keen to contribute to building a positive school environment.

This week we have shared in a range of culture building moments:

  • as we heard from God’s word in Chapel through Mr Keith encouraging our student community to be one of courage,

  • as we met at Stockton Pool to support and cheer one another on at our Swimming Carnival and

  • as we have engaged with our classes together.

I must say I am proud of the culture we are continuing to build here at MCS!

Communication from our Coordinators

ree

Shortly our Secondary Coordinators Mr Keith and Mrs Martens will be sharing a communication with our families to provide a little more insight into what they are working on with your children in Years 7 - 9 and 10 - 12 respectively.

Please keep an eye out for these in your inbox and read through to get to know our Coordinator Team a little more, as well as hear their heart for your children and the broader MCS community.

Assessment Schedules

For the year ahead we will be sharing our Assessment Schedules in Week 3 to help families see when and where tasks are happening throughout the school year. These schedules will be emailed home to the preferred family contact through Sentral as a PDF for your review.
