Term 4 awaits!
Term 4 always brings with it much excitement and energy as we work together towards the conclusion of another school year. This term again there are many opportunities for students to demonstrate their skills and understanding in the classroom, to get alongside and encourage one another in Sports and Creative Arts and to enjoy a break from the routine through attending one of our Camps in Week 5, forming stronger connections and sense of belonging. There is much to be thankful for and involved with.
This week saw the commencement of the HSC throughout NSW and I am pleased to report that our students have engaged positively with these exams and applied themselves diligently throughout the week. The HSC Exams run from Wednesday 12th October to Wednesday 2nd November.
Year 8 and 9 Subject Selections
This term our Year 8 and 9 students will have the opportunity to select their elective courses for 2023 and we look forward to presenting students with some information and subject choices from Week 2. We look forward working with our Year 8 and 9 students as they get some further choice with their studies in the new year.
Looking Ahead
We have lots of exciting events and activities are coming up in Term 4. You can always find details of the upcoming events through the new Parent Portal App, as well as in the calendar found at the end of the newsletter. Some of our key activities are:
Week 3: Year 10 and 11 students BIG Day in Newcastle and our Year 7 immersion day in Secondary
Week 4: Year 9 and 10 exams
Week 5: Year 8 to 11 camps
Week 8: Year 10 work experience
Looking forward to a wonderful term together!
